For $50 per person, Peconic Bay Vineyards offers a picnic reservation that includes a bottle of wine and a large charcuterie board. Adults are $35 per person, which includes cheese and charcuterie boards and a three wine flight tasting. Kids can join in the fun of its Summer Tasting. The Mattituck Tasting Room is open for reservations only at this Long Island favorite. There is live music every weekend, and if someone in your group is not a wine lover, it also has an assortment of hard ciders and craft beers. This is the first vineyard you will see as you enter Long Island's Wine Country, and kids are welcome. Outdoor games such as volleyball, bocce, and corn hole are available at no charge on its expansive property. Osprey's Dominion – PeconicĪt this family-friendly and popular vineyard, guests can bring their own picnic lunches. If you wish to visit the Tasting Room while you are there, be sure to check the website before heading out, as this is a popular venue that sometimes closes for private events. Snack boxes and beverages are available for kids. Bring a blanket and chairs, enjoy wines by the glass and bottle, cheese and charcuterie plates, and music from 5pm until sunset. Through the end of September, families visiting this South Fork vineyard can enjoy Sunset Fridays and Saturdays at the wine stand. And while you're there, treat your sweet tooth to some cider doughnuts and kettle corn. Check out the Peach Festival in August and the Apple Festival in September. Hayrides, pig rides, and corn mazes are all part of the fun. Take the kids to see the animals, let them play games, and then relax with a glass of wine at the wine barn. The vineyard is located behind the Harbes farm stand and Harbes Barnyard Adventure, with plenty for kids to do. Harbes Family Farm and Vineyard – Mattituck They offer cheese boards, snacks, and soft drinks for purchase, and reservations are strongly encouraged for groups of six or more.
